Our Computer upgrade service is offered as part of our repair service & encompasses a range of solutions including higher spec. graphics cards, more memory, extra hard disk, as needed.

COMPUTER RUNNING SLOWLY?

Do not assume it will not run Windows 10/11. OTC can provide a free no obligation assessment to try and secure the future of the computer that you may have thought was “Past It”! Whether performance can be improved with replacement memory or hard drive we can advise you on a cost-effective solution. Even used components may be a better option than assuming you have to abandon your aging laptop, tower, desktop as a bargain-basement item.

A COMPLETE UPGRADE

It may be possible to completely upgrade your desktop or tower computer. If you wish to have the benefit of a new system in your existing case then we can change many internal components for you. This may include a range of different possible parts. We could install a new motherboard, CPU, hard drive, RAM or other hardware to give a newer zest to the computer that was previously thought to have been “past it”

RAM – MEMORY UPGRADES

A RAM/memory upgrade can give a performance boost to your computer, producing more speed and less time waiting for your PC to respond. Your existing RAM may accept extra sticks of RAM alongside it. The old RAM may have to be discarded. Matching new RAM with existing memory can be a tricky trial and error task – leave it to OTC to access trade databases of which memory will fit with which computer and mainboard.
