Our on-site computer repair service allows us to investigate the problem & will determine whether the computer can be fixed in situ or whether we need to take the computer away for more TLC. A lead time of 2-3 days until return is normal allowing for spares availability.
Remote Computer Support
For our remote computer support we use a simple programme that can be installed onto your computer in minutes to allow us to take over the screen, investigate & possibly rectify the problem from our base. With your consent of course, the programme is not usable unless you are by the computer.
PC Desktop Repairs
Our PC desktop repair service can fix a range of issues. Fan noisy, hard drive whirring or clicking? Need more RAM or a better graphics card? Password not working? Computer freezing up, out of space? Computer too old for Windows 10-11? Just give OTC a ring for a no-obligation quote.

Our Windows Laptop computer repair service extends to include laptop specific issues. Staff at OTC have years of experience supporting computer installations for home and home-office users. In addition we have worked in corporate I.T. support in healthcare, insurance, transport to name a few. We pride ourselves on an efficient, local, value for money service.
We can sometimes quote over the phone, which can be supported by confirmation by email or in writing. If a visit is necessary for the quote and for some reason the figures discussed are not agreeable then there is no fee charged for a local visit.

The longer your computer has been running Windows over time the more likely a good software clean up will be needed to re-invigorate it. As a last resort we can re-install Windows whilst retaining your data and programmes.
